I just got the new Thunderbolt in the mail yesterday, and after 2 hours of dealing with 8 Verizon employees, 3 over the phone and 5 at the store (none of which knew how to activate it) it is finally activated.
So far I love the phone, most problems I came across I was able to fix with a quick trip to the Marketplace.
One thing I did notice, is that when my phone is in the lock screen, if someone sends me a text message, I have to unlock the phone, get to my home screen, hit the messages icon, and select the text sender to see the message. On my Moms Samsung Fascinate, she can go straight from the unlock screen, right to viewing the message.
Am I missing something, or is there no way to go straight to the text message?
