Not sure where to put this but here goes.

I just uploaded 14GB of Photos and videos to Google Photos. It's taken me all day to put them into Collections. Where do they go on the phone? My storage hasn't increased at all. Do I only get access to these while having a data connection, if so that will suck. I'm used to Dropbox having them locally on both my PC and Phone. I may need to go back to this.

You can download the ones you'll want offline. I've only seen options to do one at a time though. I take all of my outcries with my phone, so Photos works great for me, but starting them in drop box may be faster for you.
