I only want my HTC Incredible to check my corporate email when I tell it to do so. Right now, the best I can get it to do is once per day.

I tried making my corporate email NOT the primary email account, but no dice. It checks all my accounts automatically once per day.

How do I force it to only check manually?

Thanks.

If you're running taskkiller, you can just kill the email app, but I think it automatically starts back up once you open it so you'll have to kill it everytime you check it.

If you use K-9 as your email client (pointed at your corporate email) you can set it never to poll.

Ah, brilliant. Noob here. I thought that you could only use the built in mail application.
