Stoopid Contacts

Ok So gmail updated all my contacts with ALL the damn emails I had saved in gmail. I dont want them in my phone (or do I?)

Is there a good way to manage my contacts or do I have to delete them 1 by 1 by 1 by...well you get the picture.

i can't find it right off the bat, but i'm betting there's some setting in your online gmail account that would govern the way in which your contacts are populated. if you want to delete those contacts manually, you could do it easier online by multi-selecting the contacts to delete.

I dont want them deleted from gmail, just my phone contacts.

well then, you'll have to turn off your gmail sync, too. because after you delete them from your phone, they'll just pop up again when your phone syncs with gmail.
