Okay, was running EpicBlue but the novelty of a theme kinda wore off for me so I just want to go back to the stock theme. But for the life of me I can't find a link! any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance guys

You didn't create a backup before installing a new theme? Sucks for you! I don't think there's a stock theme, persay. I think your only option is to wipe and reinstall PE5. Could be wrong though, I've always backed my stuff up...

There isnt a stock theme that I am aware of. You just need to flash the stock rom over your theme one without any wiping so you dont lose any of your data. Then flash the necessary updates.

I did but when I try to restore I get "This does not seem to be a valid backup. The MD5 file is missing."

Snarky tone aside thanks for the help.

I have heard of the md5 causing issues in cw never experienced it myself though so it is not his fault that his backup failed or corrupted I think your only option is to reflash the rom from a clean slate sorry

Actually, yes I did. I usually just change it to a single digit (whatever day it is) because the long timestamp bugs me. Could that have done it?

If you added any spaces at all that would cause a problem.

if there is something wrong with your backup (it's happened to me before), you could try the following:

    - backup what you have
    - using 7zip or winrar, open up a copy of the EpicBlue_PEv5.zip (rename it "stock.zip") AND PEGBv5.zip
    - copy all the apk files located in /system/app from PEGBv5.zip that are in EpicBlue_PEv5.zip (for all pop-ups, click ok or yes to let them overwrite and zip)
    - copy the /system/framework/framework-res.apk from PEGBv5.zip to EpicBlue_PEv5.zip (for all pop-ups, click ok or yes to let them overwrite and zip)
    - drop stock.zip in your sdcard and flash it like a rom.

that should overwrite all the themed files in epic blue.

    i hope that helps!

    best,
    rf
