My settings, dialer, gallery and music stock apps have deleted themselves. I've done several Factory Resets, and even gotten a new phone. Most annoying thing ever.

If this keeps happening, I'd recommend calling Verizon and having them send you a new phone.

Really? Then the issue may be occurring if you install non-market apps

You have a Droid virus or equiv! Esp. if you restored your installed apps from backup after replacing phone!

I'm having the same problem but it's with my stock camera and camcorder. I can still use my camera because I had a camera app from the market downloaded. But I can't use my camcorder at all. Besides doing a factory setting is there anything else we can do?

I had these problems too. It's most likely a bad app. Start from scratch and install apps manually. One at a time until the problem returns. Or you could keep your phone stock and see if the problem continues. If you even got a new one, 99% sure it's something that you installed and keep reinstalling

A couple of quick questions: 1) Do you have a Task Killer installed? 2) Do you have apps stored on your sdcard? 3) Do you have an anti-virus app installed? All of these have been known to make apps disappear.
