Still no update, MIUI camera problem?

Hey dudes, so still no update here. Which sucks cause I really want to install a ROM and use Swype 3.0 but I don't want to until I get the update. However when I search for it on 4g it says not available, when I search on wi-fi it just searches indefinitely till I stop. I installed the MIUI camera to make the Bionic one a little smoother. Definitely helped. But I remember going through some process of moving system files or something, so I'm wondering if this is preventing my phone from reaching the server or however it works? I don't THINK it would, but then again I don't really know. If nobody knows then I'm totally willing to just uninstall it buuuuut I can't really find out how to do that. Any thoughts on this? Would really like to avoid having to do a factory reset...

Stock rooted with 4ever root.
