Statusbar change?

I am on verizons S3 and i am wondering if i can change the icons in the statusbar. (Bluetooth, Gps, etc.). My friends AT&T S3 has Wifi in his statusbar and i find it a tad silly that mine does not have that choice. I mean wtf is driving mode anyway?

Verizon removed the wifi icon in their version of the S3. They replaced it with the wifi message below the status bar and the annoying wifi popup (which is at least easy to remove). You may be able to get it back by rooting and installing a custom ROM. Haven't kept up with the S3 hacking.

Yea. I am complacent with stock at the moment. Why must verizon drop some ball with thier phones? Lol
