How do I change/remove the ringtone played at startup after the boot amimation?

System, media, find bionic.ogg. anything you name bionic.ogg will play at startup I think.

Nada. There's nothing in that location named bionic.ogg

The above method is how you can change bootanimation sound the sound it makes while checking SDcard is different and I believe simply changing the Droid.ogg will do it

its under settings sounds notification i believe maybe im wrong

Mine only plays bootanimation sound then notification sound, so I'm not sure what you are referring to

I think that under settings/sounds and you uncheck the play sound for sd card box. Hope that's the one...

Bingo! Didn't see that, just got on to post the same thing...good job. Still can't find the soundfile location ...don't care now, thx all!
