Startup issue

Whenever i try to start up my phone, almost every time, it just gets stuck on the motorolla screen. I end up having to take the battery out. After the second or third try, it works. Anyone else have this problem and/or know a solution?

Kind of an odd question, but if the phone is plugged into a charger and without the battery, does it start up properly?

I have not tried to start it without the battery, but it does start up fine when the charger is plugged in.

Yeah, yeah.. I'm on my phone. So?

I hope not. I have only had the phone for less than a week. The battery usually lasts about a day with a lot of phone use.
