    Hello!

My name is Marc and I live in the Netherlands

I haven't been programming for many years.
In the evening hours, I followed Adam Porters MOOC on Android programming (Uni Maryland) via Coursera.org.

Not the original plan but I have just succeeding in publishing my 1st App in the Play Store:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spelletje.dicehuntertrial
It's an addictive dice game (forget yathz :) )

I have many other idea's now, but for a good balance between work-life-love-hobby I desperately need more hours in a day :)

    Many thanks for reading!

    Bye

    Marc

    btw:
My reason to choose android in stead of iOS was the openness of the platform.
But reading all the stuff about no support for SD* cards I wonder I Google is heading the same direction as Apple.
Flocking us all to the cloud...
Perhaps browsing in the forum I will get comforted I haven't made the wrong choice.
(I have allready 2 Kingstons crippled by my S4 and Tab10.)

    Thanks for the warm welcome!!!

If you are interested (yes I am a MOOC fan):

Pattern-Oriented Software Architectures: Programming Mobile Services for Android Handheld Systems has just started. You can join for free.

    It's part of a 3 course specialization:
"University of Maryland, College Park & Vanderbilt University- Mobile Cloud Computing with Android - A Specialization on Coursera: Your Pathway to Expertise"
    see https://www.coursera.org/specialization/mobilecloudcomputing/2?utm_medium=catalogSpec

Unfortunately I had to take better notice of
Edx.org MITx: 15.390x Entrepreneurship 101: Who is your customer?
    YTD only 30 views of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Me8YOLP697Y&feature=youtu.be :(

and a whopping 5 installations of the trial ....
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spelletje.dicehuntertrial
    :)

Hope I can sign up for a MOOC on marketing your app, any suggestions?
