Im sure this has been answered already, but i can't read through all these pages. I am running the .6.2.1 and love it. I just downloaded the updates via ROM Manager, and wanted to know, do I need to Wipe and backup to do the update, or can i just install it.

Having issues with Wifi (yes I flashed GPA10). Wifi just doesn't work, I was having a similar issue with 6.2.1. I wonder if its a hardware malfunction.

Nope. I'd check out Liberty - seems to be the Custom ROM of choice for the DX.

Does this ROM include the option to disable the lock screen in the settings? I really had hoped someone would port this over from one of the HTC phones since they've had it for a year now.

Hey Pete, just wanted to say good job on all the work you've done. I swear by your roms, we (my phone and I) LOVE your roms and how stable/fast/battery efficient they are. Your work is the reason why I still have my og droid.

Looking forward to your froyo kernel and as a fellow college student with a budget I am throwing beer money your way as soon as I can =P

Hi. Can someone please tell me if the music controls have been added for when the screen is off, i.e. using the volume keys to skip tracks and the camera button to pause? Thanks in advance

What's the basis for wiping 3x and not say 1x or 5x? If wiping is just deleting whatever files are stored there I really can't understand why once wouldn't be enough. I see this advice a lot so there must be something to it but It's hard to imagine how a file system that couldn't reliably delete files could be at all usable. Is there some "feature" that attempts to recover deleted files on the next re-boot that we are trying to defeat?

Back in the 2.0.1 days (when there was Bugless Beauty and Bugless Beast), Pete always recommended wiping twice. I always assumed it was on the off chance that the first wipe missed something. As it stands, wiping seems to be an inexact science at best - I set my SMS/MMS LED notification to blue while I was using MIUI and it remains blue to this day, in spite of wiping at least 10 times (2x each for BB 0.6.2, BB 0.6 nightly, GPA10, GPA11, and GPA12).

Im running petes stock gingerbread right now with the RZA-1100 kernel. Can I flash this rom without wiping? Or do I need to do that? Also does anyone know if I will need to switch to a different kernel. I have never tried BB and I would like to give it a go. Thanks.
