Always been a Chevy No1 guy myself, but I've tried Chevy, P3, Sapphire, Liquid Slayher, and the stock kernel, and I've had the best luck with the Liquid Slayher 1Ghz (underclocked to 800 hz) by a wide margin.

I was asleep when you replied, but if you check the Compcache Enabled Kernels sticky in this forum, you'll find links to all of them.

I've used Chevy's and Slayher's. Both have worked fine for me, but my phone seems to be exceptionally tolerant; I haven't found hardly any kernel that DIDN'T work. I know some people's phones have trouble with some. (Note: a 1.25MHz I tried worked ok, but wouldn't play video.)

That said, I'm currently using Slayher's v1.7 800Mhz kernel, since it has the interactive governor. Some don't.

What do you gain by using a 1Ghz kernel only set to 800Mhz? Why not just use the 800Mhz kernel?

I don't know that I gain anything, but I like having the 1 ghz setting available.

I am having issues with BB. Seems I cannot navigate in Maps ever since installing the latest version on my wife's Droid.

First question.....is there a fix for this?

Second question.....when will BB be available for the D2?

Read on Phandroid that there was a 2.2.2 patch issued through VZW OTA (non-rooted) , is that true and if so will we see a patch or new build with those fixes ?
