First of all definitly not sharing any links, sorry all :) second in response to the poster above there are a couple options. It might work if just flashed over but id recommend using chevys built in backup tool and backing everything up, wiping, and installing.

Cool...where can I find the backup tool?

I have apps on the SD card through Link2SD, will Chevy's backup tool restore them to the SD card, etc.?

Depending on the recovery (clockworkmod or rzrecover) the sdext might not get wiped at all in which case link2sd should find them after a reinstall and renewed boot script and Chevy's backup tool is in Chevy tools> scripts I believe

You were right on the script location.

Does anyone know if Clockworkmod wipes the sdext?

As far as I know the only recovery that does have the ability top wipe sdext is rzrecovery. Clockwork attempts to do it but I have never seen it locate the file.

Just as I did before waiting for 5.5 to drop I am once again back and forth on these Chevy forums looking to see if the latest and greatest has arrived. Just as an addict to a drug. Lol... Every 15 to 30 minutes. This is insane to do be like this... It's official I'm a flashaholic!! Lol

The backup tool is in Chevy tools in the settings menu, then scripts, and its the top one, not totally sure about its ability to backup sd-ext apps but it think if you wiped everything but ext with the partition menu in cwr then you should be able to restore everything back to normal as it restores apps with data.

Clockwork does it for me. Never had an issue. If you encounter an error mounting ext it might be that you are going to reformat the ext partition.

I'm totally looking forward to the 1% battery increments. How hard would it be to implement 1% increments on Chevy's last Froyo ROM (if it's even possible)?

Just installed 5.6 out works great. There are some issues with the apps, but uninstalling them and reinstalling them fixes the problems.
