After one bad install of 5.0 over 4.96 I restored my 4.96 for about two days and then tried it again. Well needless to say 5.0 is working like a champ. I thought my problem rested with me uninstalling almost every app that came on the rom from the flashlight to the file explorer. But as I did the exact same thing over again i couldnt reproduce it. I was most likely a glitch. But like I said now its like my Chevelle SS got a brand new 454 Crate Motor in it. lol dancedroid There was one question I had on it tho. On the stock power bar widget it allows so many new choices to be allowed in the widget. I cant seem to keep the screen lock off. It will re-enable probably after about 30 minutes any help?

I've noticed that regardless of your setting, the lock will reset whenever you connect a charger...

since chevy is the man i wonder if he can find the source of it reverting back. that new feature is nice and thats the only way i know how to turn it off without using some extra app.

Just so I understand Bryant .. when you say screen lock re-enables - you mean where after 30 minutes the lockscreen is active again, and you don't want it to be active at all (via a setting in the toolbar)?

    Chevelle SS eh ... niccccceeeeeeee

Yes that's about right. There is a lock screen adding for the stock widget that you can use to enable or disable the stock lockscreen and for some reason after a little while it re-enables. Oh and the chevelle ss is what most people want. I actually prefer a 69 c10 short wheel base with a 454 Turbo 400 tranny. Lol

    LOL C10's ARE sweet!!!

OK - can you narrow it down though, ie. does this always happen, or only when plugged into a charger as noted?

I noticed it when about 5 or more times I hit the power button to put it to sleep it did it. I haven't tried with the charger yet
Edit: well I figured out one thing that was causing it. I have an app called fast reboot to reboot the currently running processes and that causes it to re-enable. I will test it some more with just normal on and off screen toggles. I didn't even think of it.

I too have the same problem, it reenables itself. I've noticed it also when I plug it into the desktop charger. I have fast reboot also but don't use it, so I don't think that's the issue. I believe the problem is that the phone simply runs low on memory especially when put in the desktop charger, so the app controlling the lockscreen get closed because it isn't being actively used. I don't know if much can be done about that.

It actually did go back on its own after about 30 min. So it might be a priority problem.

Haven't started on the exterior as much as my new crate motor and heavily modified Turbo 350 tranny that tore my rear end differential up. Lol blue line sprags and stage 3 shift kit. Not bad for paying 200 for it.
