According to the latest news directly from Sprint, their version of the Google/Motorola Nexus 6 will be getting updated to Android 5.1 today. The update, version LMY47D, includes the following changes:
    • Android 5.1
    • Factory Reset Protection
    • Enhancements to sending MMS messages in the UK
    • Fixed duplicate SMS messages being sent
On top of these changes, you can expect the Android 5.1 update to improve performance. I twill also come with improved toggles for WiFi and Bluetooth, support for dual-SIM devices, more security for devices that have been lost or stolen and support for VoLTE / HD Voice calling.
