I originally used SP Recovery to root and apply FRF57 and the Clean Black theme. After this, I downloaded ROM Manager and flashed the ClockWorkMod Recovery. Now I cannot get into SP Recovery using the Up+X way. I'm pretty sure this is just stupid user error on my part, but I'm not quite sure what to do from here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I'd really like to try the new Bugless Beast. :)

It has to do with CW. Try reflashing sp or CW.

It's not up + X. You hold the x button will pressing the power button. Keep the x depressed until you get to the Recovery.

However, Clockwork overwrites SpRecovery. You will have to reflash Sprecovery if you want to use it. You can use Rom Manager to do this. Just scroll down to the Flash Alternate Recovery button. BTW, if you reflash SpRecovery via Rom Manager you may need to do it a few times for it to "take". You can tell it worked by the speed with which it loads. It should reflash very quickly. Just keep doing it until it confirms installation quickly.

    Thanks guys.

Bayou, I followed your directions from a different thread to reflash SP Recovery using the terminal emulator. Worked like a charm. Thanks!!!

    P.S. the Up+X was a typo, meant Power+X. Whoops!

As it has been said, SPRecovery and ClockworkMod do the same things but are different programs so you cannot use both at the same time. You have to choose one or the other. Most developers will give you install directions depending on which you use.
