Good day friend.
I bought a Galaxy S5 Imported, Model SM-G900H.
The same has a black spot in the middle of the screen in time to use the camera.
Attached below a picture of how are the photos.
This only happens with the rear camera, front camera works perfectly.
Does anyone know what this is or how to solve.
From already thank you very much.

Welcome to the forum & congrats on your new device!
Have you peeled the plastic protector off the camera lense? Its really hard to see but just like the plastic you peeled off the front of the phone, there's one on the camera lens as well. If you've done this already and have made sure the lens is clean, I'm not sure what else it could be....It could be a hardware issue, so you might return it to your place of purchase for a new one.
Good luck & let us know how it goes.

Already removed the plastic protection.
I upgraded the fw.
I believe it is a hardware problem.

Very strange. This doesn't look like a burned pixel problem as the image is gray, not black in that spot. The area is a considerable part of the screen. Also, just because it's in the middle of the image doesn't necessarily mean it's in the middle of the lens. It could be a ring around the outer edge of the camera lens and with the way light is captured and refracted it might appear as a mark in the center.

What's really strange about that image is that it's a fairly good circle and it's gradation is from light to dark going from outer edges to center.

yes...it is exactly the same on mine...it is perfectly symetrical and gradiated...it almost seems as part of the ISO/light metering function

Very strange. Since nobody seems to know what's causing this, you might try contacting your carrier to see about getting it replaced under warranty.
Welcome to the forum Sheshe. Sorry, we don't seem to have an answer for this one.

Well that's interesting, surprising, and fortunately good news. I only wish we knew what caused it and what solved it.

Same dark spot on my S5. I recognized it appeared after an X-Ray check in the airport, the custom officer passed the box three times and have this phone and other things exposed more time than normal under the radiation, suposedly looking for "something strange" he identified in my belongings, maybe this was "intentional" ??? The dark mark may correspond to a lens concentrated light "burning"....?

I would have guess a tiny spec of dust somehow got inside the lens.
