One of the main features of the Note 4 is the large screen and the ability to easily multitask with the built in recents menu. The only problem is that the Note 4 recents menu and switching between open apps has always been a bit sluggish. Things have only gotten worse with Lollipop. This is due to the same RAM bug that is found on the Galaxy S6. The 5.1.1 update has reportedly fixed the RAM bug on the Galaxy S6, but that same update may not be available for the Note 4 for a while.

The great news is that the fix implemented in the S6 update is a simple build.prop edit. The same edit can be made on your Note 4 with similar results. All that you need is a rooted device and a build.prop editor. You will then open up the build.prop editor and change a line of code. For full instructions head to the link below.

Too bad Im on 5.0.1 (VZW Retail Edition). Still no word yet on the progress of root for the RetEd of the Note 4 on Lollipop, but Im sure hsbadr is making some headway. Would love to see Lollipop get a bit faster!
