Is there any way I can use 2.1's speech to text in any text field feature? I'm currently on an unrooted 2.01

Ran across your post while searching for the speech input mechanism for 2.1 after upgrading my Droid a couple days ago. Didn't know 2.1 had speech input enable for all text fields until today's press conference.

I already have TalkToMe Keyboard for 99 cents and have been using that since 2.0. If you don't want to wait for 2.1, try it out. You can return it within 24 hours for a full refund and it works very well. It uses google's same speech recognition engine.

    EDIT
By the way, I found the answer to my question. In 2.1, there is a little mic at the bottom of the keyboard for speech input.
