Speech to Text in Text Messages Problem

Well, I think it's a problem. I can't reply to a text message by using speech via the microphone. I'm pretty sure I have done this in the past. I get an error message, "Voice dictation does not support current input language."

I've checked my keyboard and voice settings and both are set to U.S. English.

It is possible to reply to a text message using speech, isn't it? If so, what am I doing wrong?

Found it.

Settings > Language and Keyboard > Multi-touch keyboard > Voice Dictation

(Must check mark Voice Dictation)
