Sound won't play when I play video

I've looked in settings/my device/sound
Everything is turned up.
All my system sounds work, ringtones, alarm, etc
I first noticed it tonight when I played a vid here on ac
I have subsequently played several videos from YouTube and Facebook.
The video plays fine, but there is no sound.
I've swapped batteries, restarted numerous times.
Suggestions on where I might look to solve this?

NOTE: I tried using headphones, video sound works fine​

Got it. I was going to do a factory reset but before I did that I cleared the cache. Hold the volume up button, power button, and home button at the same time...
