I finally is able to get my Droid aka. Milestone in canada.Can somebody tell me, can I root the milestone like you did with the droid? I know we've pinch and zoom.I wondered are there any differences between the 2 devices?
I've been lurking on this forum since december 09'. Hopefully I'll be able to officially declared that I am a proud member, with a new milestone and happily give mr steve j. the M- finger :icon_ devil:.(owner of 2 iphones)Freedom and choices are within my grasp! :icon_ banana::icon_ banana:

Droid root does not work for Milestone.

Don't be so sure. The OP should check for Milestone rooting methods.

@ OP

Yes. You need to use the methods for the Milestone, not the Droid.

this was for 2.0 I think. I've read that it works for 2.0.1 too. Don't quote me on that though, do some extra research before trying it.

No, it's not the same as rooting the Droid.

These instructions are specific to the European Milestone, but I would keep checking here once the Canadian version is released to see if it works there too.
