I just saw that Sony announced 4 new phones and I wondered why they never come to Verizon. I like Sony products. It would be nice if they built a super high end LTE phone for Verizon. Has anyone heard any rumors of such?

Those phones are unlocked international models. So, they wouldn't mention anything for US carriers.

As for Sony & Verizon. It's because of the CDMA. Sony Ericsson stopped doing CDMA devices here back in the early 2000s. They just recently got back into it with the XPERIA PLAY, which was quite the shocker.

Since Sony wants a larger cell phone presence here (like Nokia) they'll have to start getting on Sprint and Verizon.
