Sorry if this is a duplicate, but I couldn't find a thread on here that solved my problem:

I have a Motorola Droid, Macbook Pro, and doubletwist-

After syncing, I open my music player app (Tune Wiki) and find that there are a few random artists missing. However, the files all show up when I browse my directory (using both Androzip and while mounted to my computer).

I've tried "open file using Tune Wiki" but nothing ever happens, I've tried several other media players, all to no success. The files do not have DRM and are AAC/m4v files just like all my other songs.

Restarts, re-syncs, I've tried it all. Anyone else have this issue?

it could be two things. either they really are DRM protected or the music player doesn't like the way the song is tagged. i had ripped some music using windows media player, and the default settings for song tagging was not accepted by the droid. i changed the way they were tagged and they instantly worked.

right now i am using winamp to rip music in HE-AAC format and they are working perfectly.

I'm not familiar with tagging- how do you change tags using iTunes or WMV?
Thanks!
