Wow, great information. Thank you guys.

I will say this, when I left work yesterday I was convinced of what you were saying. However, on my ride home....while on 4g and not connected to a wi-fi, my phone did the exact same thing. Screen would not unlock, frozen keys on keyboard, I tried to use Facebook and it froze for about 5 seconds and really acted wonky for a little while.

I took the phone back last night and exchanged it for a new one. I'll keep you guys posted if the problem persists on the new unit.

I'm glad to hear you returned the device....I was thinking that would be your best option at this point. Good luck with the replacement & let us know how it goes.
