    Huh????

From first post in his thread...

    Directions.

    1. Download this zip file, it contains the necessary lib files and the live wallpaper files.
wallpaper files - MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
lib files - MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

    2. Unzip these files and place on your SDCARD. (I created 2 folders one named libs and the other app). You need to place the four Live wallpaper files in the app folder and the lib files need to be in the lib folder.

    3. Restart your phone in the recover console.
    4. Select mount sub-menu
    5. mount sdcard and system
    6. type busybox cp /sdcard/libs/* /system/lib
    7. type busybox cp /sdcard/app/* /system/app
    8. unmount both sdcard and system
    9. restart your phone

OK, understand... you know it is funny, but as a rule these smart guys that do all the cool stuff with Droids make some really crappy videos :)

Doesn't all the cool stuff?? :-(

I wish some of those smart guys would take the time to make actual "apps" that us mere mortals could install.. oh well can't blame them, why would they waste time doing that when they could use that time for more fun rooting stuff.

I would pay a few $$ for something like that.

The 2.1 apps I would like to have are the new Desckclock app (replacement for ugly multimedia clock) and the Livewallpaper app. Not worth rooting my phone for that, especially since we all will have it in a few weeks (hopefully).

I'm sorry about the video guys, but it was 2am when I finally got the files to work. I will put a better one together today with more thorough directions.

And yes its dangerous, I bricked my phone a couple of times in the process.

    P3Droid,

We (I ) was just ribbing ya about the Video. Great job on getting the Live wallpapers app working.

BTW, I posted a request for you in your original LiveWallpapers thread, please think about it.

alright! Another goodie to drain my battery even faster!

this does look pretty sweet. i did install the news and weather app from 2.1 and its a must have.

guess this might be a little upgrade for me to do tonight.

Kudos to you!! Being nit picky though, "bricking" a phone renders it useless. If you got out of a "brick" then technically you didn't brick it as it upsets the definition of "bricking" a phone. Lol ;) just messin with ya but I don't think you bricked your phone lol
