Ok so im trying to completely unroot my phone to sell. it has a fresh factory reset but i can remove the root. the superuser icon is always there. It was rooted with one click root but when i unroot it, it only stays unrooted till the device is rebooted. How can i permanently remove root? thanks

You'll need to SBF back to stock. All doing a factory reset accomplishes is the wiping of any data you installed, such as apps and saved data. Rooting actually modifies whats already built in, or at least gives you permanent access to whats built in and locked tight. An SBF is the only true way to get your phone back to 'out of the box' state after a root.
