i have a few questions. i rooted my motorola droid the other day and i'm still a little confused about some things...

    1. is there a difference between doing a nandroid backup, backing up using rom manager, and doing a backup using titanium backup?

    2. lets say i do a backup. the next day, i do another backup, and for the next 5 days i do a backup everyday. if i restore my phone to the third backup i did, will all the backups i did after that get erased? or can i go back to the third backup and then go back to the seventh one again?

    3. i've heard that every time you switch roms you have to wipe data and cache - is there a way to keep apps and settings so i don't have to start all over again every time i switch roms?

    4. when i first rooted my phone i did a lot of nandroid backups but didn't get the option to name them or anything. if i have to go back one day and restore one of them, is there a way to know what's on each of them? cause i can't remember when i did a nandroid backup so if one day i wanted to go back to stock, i wouldn't know which backup to restore. or if i wanted to go back to a different step i wouldn't know which backup to restore.

    5. what's busybox? i keep hearing about that but i don't know what it is....

    6. if i wanted to switch roms, how do i know what kernel to use and what mhz to put my phone to?

when you restore a nandroid backup you do not have to wipe data and cache.
