May as well post this here instead of starting a new thread, but does anyone know how to remove an app from the car dock mode? The pre-set ones?

I dont have the Bionic car dock yet, but I would think it's a longpress on the app you want to remove/replace.

Just touch and hold the one that you want to remove and your application menu will pop up automatically and select the one that you want.

Not on mine.. just tried removing the voice search. It highlights blue, then if I let go, it opens voice search...

You can only change the personalize screen. There are 3 screens on the car dock you only change the last screen that says personalize

Thank You, that's what I was trying to verify. I was able to change the others, but wanted to replace the voice search...

Thanks, yea I know that but was just trying to uninstall the ones that come with the car dock app :/ I know there are alternate ones, but this one really isn't that bad.

Nope I've never rooted. I have a car dock mode by placing my bionic in the car dock

Wow - things have been a little edgy around this forum lately. I for one think it's great that we have the new RAZR and Nexus offerings, which will be totally smoked by HTC's or someone else's offerings in the coming weeks/months. Plus, I am impressed with VZW's 4G Holiday lineup - it's about time that they lead the pack!

What about my Bioinic?

I love it! It's one awesome piece of hardware that has been a delight to own and (heavily) use since it dropped on Day 1.

Like most of the folks here, I am drawn into all of the newest cell technology, I find it intriguing to keep up with. But at some point I need to realize when I've got hardware/software that meets/exceeds my expectations. The Bionic does just that.

Its almost impossible to stay on top with best device unless you have cash to burn. I had to upgrade via vzw for the full monty of 299.99. I dont care though im extremely happy with this phone. Always loved Droid. Verizon is the best network in my opinion. This phone is definitely the ****! Super fast the screen is fine i aint complaining. Razr... whatever. Im trying to get **** done with this not look super slim. I expect the bionic community will flourish!
