well i have been running it for an hour or so... system seems a bit sluggish compared to 1.1. i dont care how many megaflipps or quadrant nanobytes it can do... graphical stats dont really do anything for me. what matters to ME is how responsive it is in my hands. i downloaded the 800G OC kernal since that is what I was running with buggie. yes flash works. yes I could go to HUHU and watch tv shows. ok, that part was freaking GREAT! but the overall snappiness just wasnt what I wanted. I was using the stock launcher with the 3d drawer, and just realised that they have always made my droid seem sluggish... guess i will load either helix, or launcher pro up since I have had great performance out of both of those with 1.1.

just thought I would share my thoughts. might try a faster OC kernal, but I was trying to keep them somewhat even. in the post for the oc kernals that OP stated that he switched the 1.2 adnd 1.1 kernals names. so that is why the previous poster here had the discrepancy.

Looks like fun but I just got my theme perfect. I will be waiting for bb2.2 my phone is very fast and has no problems with any games. Wish I could just take the flash part of 2.2 lol

I'm Pete's biggest fan...but I'm sticking with the leaked Froyo (800MHz, working wifi) 'til Pete gets his own version out. The browser and flash are AWESOME.

I flashed it and almost immediatly flashed back to Smoked Glass 6.0.1 right now my phone is themed exactly how I want it, minus Froyo, Flash, and Apps2SD but this ROM was a cruel reminder of how much I hate the Stock Android look, much thanks to everyone who worked so hard to get this out in a timely manner but I will wait for the AdamZ Smoked Glass Froyo ROM

Not to mention another site but if you go to droid-life.com, they have the new kernals for Froyo. I am now running Froyo at 1G and it is fast! I was on BB1.1 before and I think that Froyo is faster. The new kernals also solve the wifi problem!

you must have missed the op in that thread.

there are oc'ed kernels and just like any other rom, it's laggy as it's syncing. biggest difference with froyo is that it dl's all your apps at once so syncing can take up to 20 min.

Tried it, just wasn't as responsive as BB 1.1 for me with the 800mhz. Tried to overclock higher than 800 with the new kernels but my phone just doesn't like them.

Idle at 28C with BB 1.1 and 1.1ghz bekit.... the 1.1ghz and 1.25ghz kernels for the froyo rom just stuck me in a boot loop and the 1ghz temps were staying at 55C + even with nothing running.

I'll wait for Pete to do his thing. Waiting won't kill me, and its just as well since I don't like the stock theme anyways.
