Well this is just a stock rooted froyo, odds are its not perfect and I don't want pete to rush out and do it today, he is one man. Just wondering whats up, I am flashing the froyo thats out there, did a backup of petes 1.1. Gonna see how this all works :)

Threads Merged. We only need one Froyo thread guys, not several for one section.

hey guys, just an update, you can now wifi overclock past 1ghz (im using 1.2ghz)

It is flying. Got 18 MFLOPS, and for quadrant standard I got 1410, which is higher than the 2.2 nexus one

My temps are staying at 40C too, when my BB would be mid-high 40's

Sticking with it! Can't wait for a 2.2 BB though

I tried 2.2 today and here is what I found:

Loaded easily a bit sluggish at first but test very fast after a min or two.
Downloaded 1.25 kernel but it only ran 1100 not 1.25 as advertised.
    Wife worked
    Flash worked
Wifi Tether did not work and this is why I returned to BB 1.1 I needed the tethering.

Other than that I really hardly noticed any major improvement over BB 1.1, nut when it comes out with 2.2 I will switch.

    Keep those ROMs coming!

i might try it. the biggest thing i can't stand about the non-rooted look is the white notification bar. i hate the way it looks.

well i have been running it for an hour or so... system seems a bit sluggish compared to 1.1. i dont care how many megaflipps or quadrant nanobytes it can do... graphical stats dont really do anything for me. what matters to ME is how responsive it is in my hands. i downloaded the 800G OC kernal since that is what I was running with buggie. yes flash works. yes I could go to HUHU and watch tv shows. ok, that part was freaking GREAT! but the overall snappiness just wasnt what I wanted. I was using the stock launcher with the 3d drawer, and just realised that they have always made my droid seem sluggish... guess i will load either helix, or launcher pro up since I have had great performance out of both of those with 1.1.

just thought I would share my thoughts. might try a faster OC kernal, but I was trying to keep them somewhat even. in the post for the oc kernals that OP stated that he switched the 1.2 adnd 1.1 kernals names. so that is why the previous poster here had the discrepancy.

Looks like fun but I just got my theme perfect. I will be waiting for bb2.2 my phone is very fast and has no problems with any games. Wish I could just take the flash part of 2.2 lol

I'm Pete's biggest fan...but I'm sticking with the leaked Froyo (800MHz, working wifi) 'til Pete gets his own version out. The browser and flash are AWESOME.
