Everything you have read from an article by NVIDIA about an NVIDIA chip? Dual core will be better on battery when you are not pushing the processor. If you open up this, for instance, you will be running 2 cores at 60%+ CPU freq which will be much worse on battery. Why do you think the Atrix has a 1930 mAh battery?

Companies NEVER stretch the truth. Just like the Atrix can do more than your netbook.
