So it seems like I'm bring home a car from Florida and I'm flying down and driving back. I'm going to Ft. Myers Fl to Toledo Oh by plane then driving it back....what do you think guys...make it in 1 day?

You could.. I can drive from Groves TX to Denver CO in one day(12 hours) .. not legally...but I can, and have done it.

I drove from Annapolis MD to Atlanta GA in about 12 hours. Your trip should be doable in a (long) day.
