So, I have written my first app using Eclipse. It works just as I want it to in the virtual device. But, now how do I actually save it as an app?

Right click on the project name, which is the very top of the tree.

go down to android tools, export signed or unsigned apk, depending on your preference.

I would sign it....cause if an app is unsigned, can't anyone modify it?

depends, if you just want to test on the phone..why go through the effort of signing it.

I would sign before publishing to the market, but not for testing purposes.

It doesn't really do anything. It's just a Triumph Motorcycle history listing based off of the history information I have on my website at http://www.TriumphConnection.com

make sure you have "unknown sources" checked in your apps settings.

So, I finally got it to the market. It's pretty remedial, but I'll improve it as I learn more.
