Could somebody help me with this list. By the way, project elite 5.0.2 - honeycomb theme - stock kernel.

    1. Dial *228 for update roaming - no keypad
    2. Programs just end with no error message
    3. Programs do end with error message
    4. Pull phone away while talking - no screen just goes black
    5. Losing 3G randomly
    6. Battery life is horrible. Got 3 hours from full to 5% with regular use.

I think next the phone will just melt in my hands. Lol.

    What can I do?

    hey eclipse,

i may be able to help w/ number 6. quick question to help others help you: did you come from a full wipe? also, if you used TiBU to restore, did you restore ANY system apps? what kernel are you using?

ok, on to number 6... i had the same experience which i found odd because one of the biggest draws for me is that every GB rom i've run so far has had great battery life until PEGB. i was getting just a few hours out of my battery on full charges and would see 10-30% drops out of nowhere. so i wiped my battery stats. i continued to have terrible battery life for about 2 days then everything stabilized. now i get a full day easily with moderate use.

    i hope that helps!

    best,
    rf

well I'll try to help as best as I can.

    1. dial *228+ (the + is long pressing on 0) , this will give you the incall screen. other option is just slide open the keyboad and go that route

2 and 3. this is due to GB overly aggressive task killer and memory management system. you can try locking apps in memory (under elite settings > performance > lock apps) be careful as you only get 3 slots.

    4. I've only had that happen to me once so far, I just hit the power button and it brought it back. hasn't happened since. so not sure there.

    5. again 3G is a GB issue it seems like. some people have the issue, others don't. try toggling your airplane mode on / off and usually that seems to get you back on track.

    6. battery life is ultra picky as everyone's phone is different. kernels, battery stats, usage, etc. try rabbitfoots idea and see if will settle down for you.

hope this helps, or at least gets ya going in a positive direction :D

Maybe a program like autokiller and choosing the moderate setting will help with task killing.

I had the same battery issue. As well as a heat problem.

If you want to stay at 1.1ghz. Flash chevy's 1.1 ulv.

You. get to keep the speed, run cooler, and great battery life.

Every phone is diff but this worked for me. :)

Just remember when switching to a lower voltage kernel you may find you bootloop after flashing or randomly reboots.
This means the voltage is too low for your Droid.
You may have to trade down to a lower Max CPU clocking parameter like a 1.0 too, find the right one that will work and give you lowest voltage ability.
Let us know what you find will work. Good luck
