Quick question. I'm trying to make a new theme for Audio Manager. the site says i need to create a new .APK file. the actual creating of the APK file I'm a bit lost. I'm guessing i just don't rename my folder .apk? The site i'm reading says i have to do this:

Is this correct? kinda lost and don't wana mess it up if i don't have to do this. I won't be placing this on the market it's just for me and if anyone wants it. Trying to make a transparent bg and blue bars!

thanks for any help at all!

from what I know... which isn't very much, you are suppose to compress your folder into a "stored" zip file... then rename the extension from .zip to .apk.... The way I have it setup is after I finish renaming the zip file I put the apk file (formerly the zip file) into a directory where I have the Auto-Sign.bat file. Then it will run and and create a "new" apk file. From my experience that is the signed .apk file with your image modifications.. I have successfully themed handcent and tag home launcher that way.

ohh i meant Auto-Sign.zip file.. extract the files into a folder and put the apk into the fodler. run the Sign.bat and confirm that theres only 1 apk.. it'll make the newly signed apk

To theme the Audiomanager Widget, just open it as an archive using 7zip. You don't break the signing.

How do you plan to re-create Audio Manager widget without the Audio Manager apk and modify the res folder images?
