so i have a question about wireless tethering????

I have a new droid 2 R2D2 and it has stock 2.2 but im just wondering if I use z4root and use wireless tether will it screw up my phone? And if I turn my wireless tether on can I use it to play on xbox live wirelessly?

Yes you can.

Screw up your phone? Maybe.

The phone will get quite warm (hot) using it for that purpose.

Ok so then if I have a wireless adapter on my xbox then I could play xbox live using wireless tether from my phone? Tht would be awesome. And I really don't care about the phone getting hot. I will keep an eye on it

I don't know man.

I've used my phone on wireless tether with a laptop and I stop when it hits 110°F. That's after 15-20 mins.

It doesn't level off if that's what you are asking.

You can set setcpu to declock the processor.

I would root it and use tbh app to bypass the hot spot feature. Them it's not an adhoc network.

I use use wireless tether all the time. Just turn screen off and take battery cover off doesn't go past 100 with mine
