So I installed Das BAMF ( 3.0 then 2.1) last night, figured out I need a Gingerbread radio... Then found out it bricks people's phones...

Am I correct when I say I can't get a gingerbread ROM like das BAMF working with cellular radio?

    Ah, thank you very much!

Do you know if I can RUU to stock, then install MR2, then re-root and install a custom ROM (Das BAMF) without bricking?

I flashed the new radio and a custom rom (BAMF) before I found threads that said the radio would brick phones. I haven't had any problems. I am running CyanogenMod 7.1.0 RC1 now.
