So I got past the root process, getting wifi tethering to work again, yada yada. But what I am still looking to do is to install a good solid rom, one that will be enjoyable to use, without a lot of bugs, and yet still be a practical alternative.
Reading through posts on other forums, I feel as if I need to go back to school and learn a whole new language. I am very uncertain about whether the CM10 rom will work on the Maxx (with the official OTA JB update). I am hesitant to start flashing things just for the sake of flashing, without knowing if I am using the right downloads for this device.
I get it that stable is better then nightlies, insofar as bugs are concerned. But which versions and from where? What else do we need to load? GAPPS? How do we know where to find the lastest and greatest of everything?
Just looking for a little push in the right direction.
