Are you going to drop an FRF84B update, or skip that in favor of focusing on your build from AOSP?

    Inquiring minds want to know...;-)

    LOL!

Packaging up 4.3 now - which is built completely from source, but of course has the proprietary files from FRF84B - which to me is the best of both worlds!

Well, I've entered the 'popularity contest' over @ alldroid - I highly doubt I'll win, but your vote will help ;)

Otherwise - would love to dev for it - but will all boil down to $$

How long does it usually take between packing it up and it being available?

Nice! 4.3 sounds like its going to be a good one. Hope you include Titanium Backup again... I'll be able to get up and running in like a flash and 1 batch operation.

Just a thought I had... I was thinking that SS 4.1 was one of the most stable, and slick ROMs around, but when competing with ROM's like Kangerade for popularity, I think you're getting a smaller userbase just due to theme colors. Ridiculous, but I think this is probably the case.... Adding Red, Black&White, Cyan, Purple, and green SS themes might expose more people to what good ROM's these are... so I can stop seeing the freaking annoying "Blueberry Kangerade with Chevy ULV kernel" sigs.

    Just an idea....

Edit: Not to knock on Kangerade or Jrummy's work at all. I think they're good too and have some interesting ideas. I just would like more people to give the Simply Stunning ROMs a try.

Personally i think 4.2 is much more stable, but I agree, more colors!

More colors would be nice but you can always put a theme over Chevy's rom. That is what most people don't get. I personally love Chevy's roms because it seems the most stable out there and also very fast. Not to mention that if you ask a question like this you get a real answer not something like "I'm still working on it and it should be out soon" then we are stuck waiting a week or too.

hey, I'm rockin 4.2 right now, and I've got to say it's absolutely great! as for theme/colors, I haven't found myself wishing for anything other than what's included in Simply Stunning...it's like electric/ice blue...gotta love it! and it's the fastest Froyo rom I've seen and I've tried almost all of them-SS is the only one that is stable on my Droid...

IF you're thinking about themeing SS, for goodness sake, please choose something other than the standard, red, blue, cyan themes. Go crazy like orange , purple, yellow etc.

I agree with the other posters though, that's what themers are for, and it lets Chevy focus on the ROM. :icon_ banana:

And theming is a bloody lot of work, and the more themes you do the greater the risk of bugs and a support nightmare for the Dev. That's why Koush's standard answer is "...what's a theme?"

If you haven't tried it, give it a try sometime. Perhaps it'll be right down your alley, in which case YOU can create the Next Big Theme. But if you're like me, you'll say f**k that, and be thankful Chevy's put a nice color scheme in his ROM.

Yep I'll definitely be downloading and installing SS 4.3, the Blue Energy theme and showing off the Simply Stunning OS. Just the name itself is eye catching as it displays in place of Verizon Wireless.
