SMS unread count/LP Notifications

Hey everyone. I'm sure this topic has come up before, but I been looking around and could not find the answer.

I am new with the Android world, so sorry for the annoying question.

I am trying to get the SMS red bubble notification on my TOP DOCK. I been looking around and I THINK...I need the dxTop Dock?

I'm not positive, but do I need that app in order to have that option to be checked, and have my notification working on my top dock?

To get those notifications with Launcher Pro, I go into the dock settings in preferences. I haven't seen that menu in LP.

You mean, Menu...AWD Settings...And go from there?

I tried doing that, and couldn't find anything. I don't know how other people do it.
