For the past three weeks, I've been having this annoying problem regarding an old TXT message I received. For some reason, with the stock messaging app, my phone will occasionally hang before loading a TXT. This particular time, it never loaded the TXT and I had to reboot my phone by pulling the battery. For a while, the message would come back as a new TXT at completely random times. This past weekend, it popped up six times in five minutes.

Today, I installed Go SMS Pro. Now, this message which has been hanging in limbo, pops up every time a get a new TXT using Go SMS Pro.

To try and fix this, I've reset the phone multiple times by pulling the battery, and by going in the stock app and deleting all messages (including locked ones), but this doesn't fix the issue.

At this point, I'm out of ideas and I'm not really sure what more to do. I've got a Droid Incredible using the stock OS. Everything is up to date.

    Thanks in advance.

Is there a folder somewhere that I can manually clear, or even a process that I could try to restart?

I also forgot to mention, when I access the message using the stock messaging app, it will hang trying to load the message until the process eventually crashes and restarts. With the new app I got, it will open the message, but it's blank and it doesn't have a contact associated with it. It's as if I've started a new blank TXT message.

VZW would tell you to do a factory reset of your device to clear the message.

I kinda figured that, that's why I came here. I was kinda hoping someone may have some other suggestions as to what I could try.
