    Anyone seen this?

    From DroidLife

A member over at XDA is claiming to have received a notification this morning to update his Verizon Galaxy Nexus to Android build IMM76Q. As you can see from the shot, the size is only 945KB which is fairly small in the OTA update world. What could be included is anyone’s guess, but if it is real, then we would immediately wonder if this has to do with dumbing-down of the Search functionality that Google must do in order to continue selling the device in the States. So far, no one else has been prompted to install this.
We will update this post as we find out more.

Verizon Galaxy Nexus Receiving OTA Update IMM76Q? – Droid Life

DIT: someone commented that this looks like a test unit

"This isn't out to the public yet. If you look above the speaker grill, there is the standard 8 character engraving for test units, although the leading and ending character seem to be obscured. This is a VZW tester who may be in some deep stuff for taking a careless snapshot."

It's the court-mandated change to Search, so that only web results are returned (and not local files).

It makes Apple happy, and lets Samsung sell their Nexi again.

I'll pass on the update, thanks.

Yes, I know it's probably that, but just wanted to know if anyone else had seen this.

But agree, i'd prefer to pass on this one.
