Slow WiFi at Home? *** Possible Fix ***

Is your WiFi running slower than it seems like it should at home? Are you getting smoking DL speeds from your comps, but only about 1.5Mbps from your Android?

After a ton of research and troubleshooting I fixed my issue.

Turned to be an easy fix. Changed a router setting and BANG, fast DL. Had to set wireless from mixed to either "G" or "N" only. For some reason "mixed" would confuse the phone and limit it all the way down to 1.5Mbps DL.

Had this problem in motels while traveling. Didn't realize what it was until I tried a new router at home. It's still a big problem when I travel and getting worse as motels replace their routers. Is there a fix for the phone?
