Slide lock no longer works

After waking my phone up from sleep mode, the slide lock never appears after the screen goes black. I've restarted and the screen pops up for a fraction of a second before automatically going back to the home screen. Any way to fix this?

I have the same problem. Did it start when you used the stick-it-in_your _pocket app?

I had the same problem. The fix was a factory reset. Sorry.

I don't use any app for in-pocket detection. I think I'm gonna try messing with other options a little longer before I end up doing a factory reset...

Edit: not a perfect fix, but i'm using a lockscreen app now to keep from butt dialing anyone.

I had this problem for the first time today, actually. What I did was enable the pattern screen lock. Now, when I turn the display off and back on, I get the slide lock. After I slide it, I am prompted to enter my pattern. However, if the display times out, the problem reoccurs and the pattern lock does not prompt. Being sure to turn off my display before departing from my phone will have to suffice.
