Sisters fascinate sluggish

My sister just called me saying her Fascinate is being very very sluggish.

I had her clean her cache, do a battery pull, but it's still really slow.
In android assistant her cpu says that only 1 percent is idle, which I know isn't right but I've never really messed with any samsung devices so I'm kind of lost.

Apparently android media process is taking up a ton of space but I don't know exactly what that is or how to stop it. Any ideas?

Did she down load any applications prior to the sluggishness of her phone? If so, uninstall those apps and see if the speed comes back.
