Greetings, hate to make this my first post.

Im currently deployed, and one of the phone services providers is Roshan. So I went and picked up a SIM card from them for a start. I'd like to use this on my Verizon phone (plan is on military hold) I have emailed verizon about possibly getting an unlock code, but if they wont give me one, is there a solution to how i may be able to use this phone while im out here? Thanks.

After researching more, I guess verizon will have to help ultimately. Its the process of changing MEID unfortunately for me to use international carriers.

Maybe. I think what you need is one of the "Universal" phones that take a GSM Sim card outside the US and CDMA in CONUS.

As a practical matter, maybe you need to look at AT&T or T-Mobile since they already use GSM, pretty much the world standard outside of the US. I am not interested in getting into a "which is better debate", but as the old saying goes, "When in Rome CDMA means no connection."
