Sim locked

I read recently purchased a g4play Motorola it seems to be sim locked I do not have the 4-Digit pin I am with freedom mobile I'm not sure who the last carrier is is there any way I can bypass this simple off and put my freedom Mobile SIM in to it

the full model number should tell you what carrier. also in the settings - about phone, there should be an entry about the service provider.

That phone should be compatible with all major carriers... Where was it purchased?
