Silencing the Bootlogo?

I'm on my 2nd day of a new rom, ThunderStick, oddly not listed in these forums:
[ROM][GB][3-04-2012]ThunderStick Full Blown, Sense 3.0 - xda-developersy biggest problem is, one of the reasons for getting a new rom was to get rid of the annoying noisy boot animation. However for some incomprehensible reason the developer has decided to include sound with his animation too. any way too silence this, or would I have to change the boot animation?

tried that with Rom Toolbox, for some reason or other, the bootlogo won't change, it remains on the ThunderStick default.
