I've been playing around with my Droid and I've had it since launch and I really love it, but I have finally discovered there is definitely without a doubt a software problem with maintaining a good signal.
I can be sitting in one place and watch the bar move from full to 1 bar, then from full to 1x back to 3g full bars.
I ran speed test using inetwork not moving my phone and it would get 125kbs down then the next test later get 720kbs down. Not even moving the phone !
This is beginning to be disheartening because I really love the phone but I have issues with calls sometimes, people telling me I break up a lot or that they hear themselves talking everything they say something.
I really hope the update fixes this issue.
